A Little About Me
My name is Sara Seitz and I am a professional freelance writer and novelist. I graduated from Colorado State University and currently call O’ahu home.
When my daughter was born, I decided to turn one of my greatest passions into a career. In 2019, I started Pen&Post and begin writing full time.
Freelancing combines so many things I love. I get to share my knowledge and connect with people all over the world. And I get plenty of opportunities to learn new things, research interesting topics, and find creative ways to share all of that with a variety of different audiences.
Writing has always been a passion of mine and finding a way to do it for a living was the best decision I ever made.

My Experience
I minored in creative writing at Colorado State University where I received my degree in biology. But much of my writing ability is self-taught. I took a creative writing elective in high school and finished my first novel the following summer. I have been writing fiction in my free time ever since.
Writing for the web came almost as naturally, but I still spend a lot of time educating myself on the latest trends and brushing up on evolving concepts like SEO and SMO. I have written many top-ranking articles and understand the intricacies of keyword density, user intent, and other factors necessary for ranking well with search engine algorithms.

I love animals! In my life, I have owned dogs, cats, chickens, geese, horses, hamsters, rats, lizards, fish, a parakeet, and a parrot
I have summited Long’s Peak four times
I once swam with a pod of 200 wild dolphins
I have bottle-fed baby marmots, raccoons, foxes, and coyotes
I love to travel and have been to seven different countries
I have type 1 diabetes and use it as an excuse to force healthy eating habits on my family (much to my husband’s dismay)
When I’m not writing content for my clients, I am working on my fiction
